Implementing Divorce Changes - Changing Your Will

After the divorce it will be important to change your Will to reflect your new financial situation.  Creating a new Will is usually the best practice to follow.  This will allow you to specify your instructions and beneficiaries on how to manage and distribute your estate.  If you create a new Will, make sure that the new Will specifically revokes all of your prior Wills.  You do not want to have prior Wills show up during the probate process creating confusion and additional costs to litigate your wishes.
